Job Summary
This role supports the Domain commercial sales team and other parts of the business (as appropriate) in managing the setting up, delivery, optimisation and reporting insights on key account campaigns across a range of digital properties both wholly owned by Domain (onsite) and / or in partnership with partner sites and affiliates (on network / off network / Audience Extension). This is done in order to drive better ROIs, and the role is involved in communicating results to all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- As a Performance Specialist, your primary role will see you working with key internal stakeholders providing support to them in optimising their bookings to the outlined performance goals.
- You will be involved in exploring new platforms and testing new traffic sources to continue Domains ability to advertise in attention areas
- You will play a key role in identifying key clients to nurture and ultimately increase their activity with Domain
- You will share your expertise and experience on campaign management and give recommendations to drive results and ROI for the advertiser.

What Success Looks like
- Ensuring campaigns are set up accurately and in a timely manner
- Supporting key stakeholders and high value accounts to ensure best delivery and performance optimisation.
- Support liaison across consumer and commercial teams and lead Ad-Ops projects
- Programmatic & Guaranteed Trading / Campaign Management to ensure the successful delivery of our campaigns across the appropriate platform(s) for each campaign
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues with the creative, manage the creative trafficking process and timelines to ensure correct assets are delivered in time for go live
- Provide a high-level of service to both internal and external clients to ensure issues and enquiries are managed quickly and to the satisfaction of the client
- Margin Management for any campaigns you are responsible for
- Promptly communicate unresolved issues to the relevant Account Manager and / or management if any issues arise during the course of a campaign
- Conducting new projects to support the business’s key strategic decisions .Testing effectiveness of various digital platforms, placements and formats.
Key Stakeholders
- You will be responsible for managing and maintaining a strong relationship with a Key Account Partner and Account Coordinator aligned to your patch
- Engage and collaborate with the Ad Tech team to help drive and facilitate change
- Manage and protect a strong working relationship with your fellow Performance Specialists which can include covering workloads when people are on holidays or sick.
- Being a point of contact and be available for collaboration with external parties such as marketing agencies and commercial clients
About You
- 3+ years' experience in Ad Operations / sales role within the Media industry
- Google Ads, Google Analytics and/or Facebook Blueprint qualification highly regarded
- DFP / Google AdManager or DBM Certification
- Proficiency with publisher/agency ad serving systems (DFP, DBM, DCM, Google Ads, FB Ads Manager), third-party ad serving tools (Sizmek, Facilitate) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Knowledge of Tag Management systems and creative troubleshooting experience Proficient in the use of Google Apps suite of products (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets)
- Programmatic Trading, ad trafficking &/or data management experience &/or Analytics tools experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, 3rd party ad tags, and other forms of digital ad code
- Digital Media background and understanding of Digital Media Trafficking, Digital Media ecosystem and advertising platforms, media buying
- Previous experience handling advertising bookings & campaign delivery
- Proven stakeholder management experience and ability to work autonomously
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with macros, pivot tables and ability to extract insights from data
- Tertiary qualification, ideally in Digital Media, IT, data science or related
